In 2012, the Mercedes team will be competing under the banner ‘Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team.’ AMG is the performance brand of Mercedes-Benz, supplying safety and medical cars since 1996. Williams retains Pastor Maldonado, promotes Valtteri Bottas as new reserve driver

Lewis Hamilton special Senna tribute helmet during F1 Brazil

Lewis Hamilton worn a special helmet with the logo and colours of Brazil’s triple Formula One champion, the late Ayrton Senna, combined with his own helmet design. The helmet tribute is for a good cause as it will be auctioned off in aid of the Senna charitable foundation after the race has ended.
