Renault F1 future is in doubt

Well I’ve been receiving conflicting reports of Renault team next year participation.

One camp says the French backed F1 team is having talks with with Prodrive for a buy-out.

While one report says that Renault is staying.

Even F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone believes that.

Bernie was quoted, “We’ve got the whole Renault thing sorted out. I feel confident we’ll see Renault next year in F1.”

For your info Renault have signed an agreement with Formula One Management pledging its allegiance to Formula 1 until 2012.

Which means it’s a breach of contract if they do quit the sport.
