USF1 will not race in 2010, Stefan GP will not take their place![]() USF1 owner Ken Anderson, left, and driver Jose Maria Lopez (middle) Pffttt after all this hype of the USF1 team, and new constructors on the grid, this is such a disappointing news. FIA has officially announced that USF1 team will not race in the 2010 season. With the defer, USF1 are willing and need to pay a 7-figure sum to FIA as penalty and compensation. FIA also announced that is not possible for a replacement team to take its place. This will rule out Stefan GP intention for a 2010 slot. I mean what’s the rationale behind that, I just don’t get it. The Serbian-based Stefan GP already has drivers and cars waiting for the green light only. Pffttt … F1 politics, I shall never understand them. Posted March 4th, 2010 in Constructors by unclesha. |
