Australia court charges Lewis Hamilton for burnout
Burnout is a vehicle’s tires are spun so they smoke. It is a practice of keeping a vehicle stationary (or close to) and spinning its wheels, causing the tires to heat up and smoke resulting from friction. Well the McLaren driver, Lewis Hamilton did such a burnout illegally on the streets in Australia when he was there for the Australian Grand Prix. He did it with a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG car after his practice session out of the Albert Park race venue. With that now he is charged with a traffic offense of intentionally losing control of a vehicle, and is required to return down under to attend his hearing on August 24th. Hamilton has since expressed regret for his action. |
