He's all fine now. Call Felipe Massa Superman!

It seems the Brazilian Felipe Massa has not showed signs of slowing down during his recovery period, and is eager to be back behind an F1 car.

Reports are indicating that the 28 year old could make a stunning return to F1 at the final race in Abu Dhabi next month.

Mass was quoted, “Brazil would be too close to the limit but we’ll see for Abu Dhabi. We’ll need FIA authorisation and it depends on the test with the F2007 car. I perfectly remember how to drive. My worry isn’t to immediately get a good lap time, but just to run again. In any case, you need a good car and a good set-up.”

He has however said he won’t be making a comeback in his home city in Sao Paulo for the Brazilian Grand Prix this coming October.

To get into racing shape, Massa is currently testing a two-year-old 2007 Ferrari F1 car in the next couple of weeks.

It was 14 weeks ago that Massa underwent a life-saving surgery after he was struck on the helmet by a fallen debree while driving at Budapest qualification.
