Fernando Alonso thumbs insured for 13.9 million dollarFernando Alonso showing his expensive thumbs Is this for real … it seems Fernando Alonso thumbs have been insured for $13.9 million dollar. In a deal to raise awareness of Santander’s life and accident insurance packages, a personal sponsor has arranged for such a coverage for the Spaniard F1 driver. Fernando Alonso is the new face for Santander, a Spanish bank, after signing a new one-year deal.
Question is why just the thumbs, not the fingers, palm and hands which drives the F1 car. I reckon if a thumb cost $13.9 million, the whole hand would cost a bomb? Posted April 27th, 2010 in Drivers by unclesha. |
