Lewis Hamilton Awarded MBE Honor By The Queen
You can add a new twist at the end of Lewis Hamilton name, which is an MBE. The Queen will award 2008 F1 driver champion, Brit Lewis Hamilton an MBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours list. For the clueless, MBE stands for ‘The Most Excellent Order’ of the British Empire. It is not a knighthood but close enough as it is one of the highest honors a civilian in Great Britain can obtain. There’s five level to this honor and MBE is one is the lowest level. Posted December 29th, 2008 in Drivers by unclesha. |
