Michael Schumacher joins Mercedes GP Petronas

After much speculation, the great one has return to Formula One.

Seven times World Champion Michael Schumacher has agreed on a one-year deal with Mercedes GP Petronas for the 2010 season.

The deal is reportedly valued at $10 million for Schumacher presence on the grid.

The last time Schumacher participated in an F1 race was 1239 days ago, if based on the first race of the year which starts at Bahrain on March 14th 2010.

It will be an all German line-up as Schumi, 41, partners with Nico Rosberg, 24, who signed with Mercedes GP Petronas last month.

Schumacher will be reunited with Ross Brawn, who was instrumental in all his seven titles.
