Michael Schumacher all ready to drive for Mercedes GP Petronas

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone tips the returning Michael Schumacher to lift the 2010 F1 drivers’ Championship it seems.

As much as that being a bold prediction, since Schumi is still trying to gain his fitness, and six years since he last lifted the trophy, the 41 year old has the pedigree and experience to win it.

Ecclestone was quoted, “Knowing him for so many years, I was very confident that F1 would see his comeback. Michael, as we all know, was and is one of the most outstanding characters F1 has ever created. Forget about winning races. I have him on my bill for winning the championship.”

Michael Schumacher has officially agreed to drive for Mercedes Grand Prix next year, on a one-year deal with options to leave or further extend his contract.
