BMW Kubica Says Winning Title Is Possible
After his second place finish at the Japan F1 Grand Prix last weekend, Polish F1 driver Robert Kubica who drives for BMW Kubica says he has a shot at winning the driver’s title His second place finish earned him points that catapulted him within earshot distance of the top two leader, McLaren Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. Kubica has 72 points, Massa 79 points while Hamilton 84 points The Japan GP was a bad race for Hamilton and Massa. The Brit took a gamble on turn one trying to pass Massa, and spun wide out of control when Massa bumped him. The clash resulted in Hamilton racing from the back of the pack and eventually finished 12th, while Massa could only get 2 points with his 7th position finish. It was a day, other F1 drivers had better driving and luck than Massa Now the drivers title is a three horse race with two races to go. Kubica need both wins at least from the last two GP to secure the title and hopefully Hamilton and Kubica faltering. Last season prove to be a surprise win from behind from Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen, this year we might see another surprise perhaps?
