Valentino Rossi switching to F1?

Valentino Rossi, the multiple MotoGP World Champion might jump at a chance driving an F1.

The 30-year-old showed he’s also capable on four wheels when was impressive in his Ferrari test this week.

Driving a a two-year-old F2008 with testing restrictions, Rossi sets stunning lap in Barcelona.

He clocked 1min 21.900sec during testing at the Circuit de Catalunya, just shy of circuit’s lap record of 1:21.670 by Kimi Raikkonen.

Rossi was quoted, “It was more fun here, because it’s a little easier than Mugello. This track is really wonderful, with motorbikes or cars. We kept the last three quarters of an hour to try a ‘time attack’ with little petrol and fresh tyres.”

The MotoGP current Champion says his F1 foray for now is for ‘fun’. He completed 600km over the two days, and spun twice, at the turn during wet conditions.
