F1 might add Mexico to new race calender
There have been talks that Formula One might give the green-light to add Mexico City to its list of growing expanded calendar in the future. Two new F1 spots are expected up for grabs in 2010 and Mexico stands a good chance to be selected Firstly of course by then, the F1 Mexico City team need to raise some $50 million to make the necessary investment such as having a proper F1 track and get their regulations in order Mexico City has previously has hosted the F1 but it fell out of favor with the FIA after it deemed their circuit not up to F1 stringent standards. Mexico racing official Jose Abed claims that the Mexican government is interested to back their F1 bid campaign and we wish them all the best I hope to see Mexican GP by 2010 … Ole!
