FIA says F1 teams cannot miss any races
It’s been speculated that the new F1 teams Campos Meta and US F1 may miss the first three races as they’re still preparing their outfit for the Championship. They’re able to do so as the Concorde Agreement has allow such a provision. But it seems FIA has said otherwise. FIA has clarified that any failure by F1 teams to attend a round of the series would be viewed as an infringement of its regulations.
Oh boy, that sure will get the new teams scrambling. I personally feel missing out on any races would be such a letdown to all the F1 fans. Why even partake in the Championship if you’re going to be an “absentee”. Posted February 11th, 2010 in Formula One by unclesha. |
