FIA Not Backing Down on Engine Proposal
The single engine configuration proposal by FIA is taking a lot of flake from media and quit threats from F1 teams, but the world motorsport body is adamant to stick to its decision. Now they’re accepting open tenders from potential suppliers of standard engines in Formula 1. A few suppliers already have interest in supplying the engines and transmission systems where the contract is to be tenured up to three years from 2010.
