FOTA’s chief, Luca di Montezemolo rallies for F1 fan support![]() FOTA's Luca di Montezemolo In the wake of fresh row between Max Mosley vs FOTA, as the FIA President seeks an apology from the head of the Formula One Team Association and Ferrari’s president Luca di Montezemolo for portraying misleading claims about Mosley, Luca is clever to deviate the focus and instead seeks supports from the fans. With no apology in sight or mentioned in his statement, he calls for an end to the bickering and says the row will only renew FOTA’s breakaway series threat. He also mentions on wanting to make Formula One a better motor-racing sports.
I personally feel both parties don’t want to lose ‘face’, and it would be unlikely Luca to apologize. This is what we call two boys in the playground in a pissing contest. Both side has no intention to fight, and hoping the other will back down. Childish you might think, yes indeed it is. Posted June 27th, 2009 in Formula One by unclesha. |
