Jerez Test (Day 1): Back to the grind
Just after two days of the recent German GP, to prepare for the upcoming Hungarian GP (1-3 Aug), F1 teams headed for a four day F1 test at the Spanish circuit of Jerez. Torro Rosso car was impressive on the circuit for Day 1 as German Sebastian Vettel was the only driver to go below 1:20 timing of 1:19.844. McLaren test driver Gary Paffett was second quickest with 1:20.179 while Ferrari was third fastest with a time of 1:20.697. Luca Badoer was behind the wheel for Ferrari, another test driver. Timo Glock of Toyota who had a crash at the German GP due to right rear toelink/trackrod failure is alright and will be back racing this Thursday for car testing Lap Times
