Team Lola has withdrawn its application for the Formula One 2010 Championship.

I think many was surprised by FIA decision to omit the team from an immediate place on the entry list.

The Huntingdon, England based racing car engineering company has been told that they were no longer in the running.

Well I guess the only possibility that Lola might be recall, if the disgruntled FOTA teams, decides to leave the F1 over the budget cap row.

Only then Lola might have a place next year, considering there will be empty slots on the grid.

But then again, would you see Lola over a McLaren car instead?
