Although the nine active FOTA members have submitted their entries for next year’s 2010 world championship, they’re still threatening that their entries would be ‘invalid’ if their terms was not met.

And that is the planned budget cap being dropped and their influence over the rule-making process being restored via a new Concorde Agreement.

Of course FIA president Max Mosley ain’t taking it down well and has retorted to FOTA to start their own series if they are still adamant on their demands.

Mosley was quoted, “I say to them: If you want to make the rules, then go and organise your own championship. But we have the Formula 1 championship. We draw up the rules for that. We’ve been doing that for 60 years and we will continue to do so. It’s quite clear that they want to slow down the process of application to the championship so that it will be too late for the new teams.”
