Mosley quits, F1 won’t split![]() Max Mosley quits To appease the FOTA rebel F1 teams, FIA President has announced he won’t stand for another re-election. With that, the row between FOTA vs ‘Mad Max’ ended, and everyone seems happy about it.
The news was announced after a meeting of the World Motor Sport Council in Paris. There FOTA and FIA signed a cost-cutting deal, where Ferrari, McLaren, BMW Sauber, Renault, Toyota, Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Brawn GP will abide unconditional to the compromised deal.
This last remaining four months will be Max Mosley last days at FIA, as he has been in office for 16 years now. Posted June 25th, 2009 in Formula One by unclesha. |
