Update On Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Progress
The location of Yas Marina Circuit for 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was just a dusty bare land a year ago, and now the Yas Island is buzzing with life and construction. There’s a slight resemblance of a race circuit on the middle of the main area, still bumpy but encouraging signs work is on schedule. Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management the organizer is using some 4,000 workers, working round the clock, to build the 21 turns anticlockwise 3.4 mile circuit with the largest 50,000 grandstands seats in the world, 500 room hotels accommodation, theme parks and a nearby marina. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to debut next year on November 1st 2009 as the final race of the season. Sales for the ticket is set to go on sale in January 2009.
