Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel

This year Formula One has been more exciting than it has in years. Finally a three way battle for the Drivers’ Title, while the Constructor Championship would likely go to Brawn GP if they don’t screw-up, which is unlikely.

Hmm who am I rooting for? Well I’ve a liking for veteran drivers like Barrichello, but then again Button and Vettel has been exceptional in each half of the F1 season.

Button winning the first six races, while Vettel amazing comeback in the latter stages. Well I can’t wait for the race at Interlagos next week!

Drivers’ Championship

Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel are still in contention for the World Driver’s Championship. Button is the only driver capable of sealing it in Brazil, and will do so if he finishes:

• 1st, 2nd or 3rd
• 4th or 5th, with Barrichello 2nd or worse
• 6th or 7th, with Barrichello 3rd or worse and Vettel 2nd or worse
• 8th, with Barrichello 4th or worse and Vettel 3rd or worse
• 9th or below, with Barrichello 5th or worse and Vettel 3rd or worse

Constructors’ Championship

Brawn just need half a point in order to be declared champions. Red Bull can still win, but they would need both drivers to finish first and second in Brazil and Abu Dhabi without Brawn scoring a single point to seize the championship away.
