Mark Webber wins British GP admist drama![]() Mark Webber victorious at Silverstone 2010 British Grand Prix sure was an exciting race, and not short of drama. The flag-off started off with an excellent start by Mark Webber, who was in second position then. He catapulted pass Vettel, who started from the front, but of course not without stiff opposition by Baby Schumi. Luckily Webber has the inner racing line as he pulls into the first curve, and from then onwards he never looked back. Vettel of course gotten himself a serious tyre puncture trying to hold off his teammates, and had to pull-in early for a pitstop. With that he resumed the raced from the back, in last position disappointly, but commendably came back from behind to finish at Silverstone in seventh position. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton despite finishing second didn’t really pose any threat to Webber. He never came close smelling the Aussie’s back, as the McLaren F1 car was just wasn’t fast enough to keep pace. GalleryClick on thumbnail to enlarge. British GP Sun. Race (11 Jul 2010)
