Ferrari President says street circuits are ‘bad future’
Luca di Montezemolo who is Ferrari President has reservations about bringing street circuit into the F1 Grand Prix races His thoughts is that such circuits leaves little to overtaking and turn the race into nothing more than a “fast-paced procession” Montezemolo was quoted when asked about Singapore GP circuit, “I have the impression it will be another one of those let downs where you cannot overtake, like Valencia. Going forward with these circuits heralds a bad future for Formula One” So far this season saw new two street circuits being added to the F1 calendar, Europe GP and Singapore GP True enough Valencia GP I found it rather ‘boring’ and I truly hope Singapore GP will give more excitement with drivers taking more chances now that the season is closing and they badly need points for drivers and constructor championship |
