Red Bull claims top two spots on the grid for the European Grand Prix

Red Bull European Grand Prix

Will the Red Bull team self-destruct in Valencia?

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel continued his fine form, ending the qualifying yesterday fastest; after an excellent last Practice session. And with that he will start from the front. He beat his teammate Mark Webber by the closest of margin in Q3.

It looks like the pair of Red Bull is once again a team to beat. They’ve a fast mean machine with their RB6, but of course let’s hope they don’t tangle up and crash into each other as they did in Turkey.

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes sneaked in starting third from the grid, and is hoping to capitalise on the mistakes made by the Red Bull pair. I’m sure he’ll go fast from the start and tries to wedge between the leader.

Next up the Ferrari pair is the underdog for the Valencia leg, as Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa showed strong driving in the qualifying yesterday. They’re slowly but surely catching up to the leaderboards.

This is going to be an exciting competition today as it’s still an open race, anyone can win it.
