Sebastian Vettel took pole position in Budapest
As I watched yesterday’s qualifying session, it was just a delight to see Sebastian Vettel driving with such panache, and confidence.
The young German was a step ahead of everyone else from the start of Q1 to Q3. Vettel took the pole position with much ease, and he look menacingly once again a favorite to win this leg, that is if he, his team, or his car don’t self-destruct on Sunday.
It seems that team Ferrari themselves have edged closer to Red Bull in terms of car performance. They Ferrari duo of Alonso and Massa took third and fourth spot on the grid.
Oooh boy this will be an exciting GP, with the recent aftermath of Ferrari’s team order scandal, and Vettel versus Webber rivalry. As for other teams, it looks like it’s time to playing catch-up as they try to perfect their aerodynamics for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
