F1 drivers main concern now are getting a good sleep in Singapore
It seems F1 drivers have some concerns about the different timezone now that they’re in Southeast Asia for the Singapore GP. They were at Italy for the last Grand Prix where its GMT +1 while Singapore is GMT +8 McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton was quoted about this concern, “For the drivers, our meal, waking and sleeping rhythms will all be in European time, for example we will get up early afternoon for breakfast, have supper at 1 a.m. and go to bed at around 3 a.m.” So I guess they would need to arrive much earlier to acclimatise to the new timezone. Plus not forgetting it could get really humid and hot here, unlike Europe Posted September 22nd, 2008 in Singapore by unclesha. |
