Singapore F1 Awarded ‘Pioneering & Innovation Award’
At the Autosport Awards last Sunday, Formula One’s first night race, the Singapore Grand Prix was awarded the ‘Pioneering and Innovation Award’. Held in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel, the award was presented by McLaren driver Heikki Kovalainen and received by deputy chairman of Singapore GP, Colin Syn. This award by the motor sport magazine, is seen second only to FIA annual Gala awards. Singapore GP had a string of awards recently. Their biggest capture was the ‘Motor Sport Facility of the Year‘ awarded by the Professional Motor Sport World annual awards. F1 Supremo Bernie Ecclestone has been quoted that Singapore F1 is “the jewel in the sport’s crown”. Posted December 9th, 2008 in Singapore by unclesha. |
