The noise might be welcomed by Formula One fans but for those staying in hotels during F1 period trying to get some sleep might have a problem

Well to combat the F1 deafening noise, local hotels have plans to double-glazed the windows

Glazing such windows can reduce noise level as much as 90 per cent

The hotels affected along the F1 street circuit includes The Fullerton, The Pan Pacific, The Ritz-Carlton Millenia, Marina Mandarin, Swissotel the Stamford and The Oriental

When interviewed some hotels commented that they have glazed the windows and some are planning to do so in the future
