Gilles Villeneuve or Joseph Gilles Henri Villeneuve was a Canadian racing driver. He had a meteoric racing career. After making impression with US and Canadian Formula Atlantic championships win in 1976, and a season with McLaren in 1977, Ferrari sign him up during 1978. He drove until 1982 where he met with a crash at the Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder during qualifying. In his 68 F1 career race, he had 13 podium finish, 6 wins and finish second best during 1979 season
